How to interact with an unfamiliar rabbit?

Rabbits don't have very good vision right in front of their noses, so approach from the side and let her see you coming. Scoop her up under her front legs and with a hand under her butt and hold her next to your chest or in your lap. Most rabbits don't enjoy being picked up but are fine once they're in your lap. They enjoy having their foreheads, shoulders and ears massaged. I have a good website on lionheads with lots of care information and pics (link below).
