Updating macbook software?

If you want to instal the new operating system, you should probably back your files up on to an external hard drive just in case. If you are okay with Snow Leopard, there's really not much reason to update, since it costs quite a bit to buy the new operating system. So if you want to buy a new Macbook pro and want the new operating system, you should wait or else you will have to pay more to update it, unless you have to have it ASAP and don't mind shelling out the extra cash later.
