Its about breaking down the associations you've made for things over your life. It takes time, patience and focus. You have to let go of love, hate, fear, confusion, skepticism, essentially all feels associated with everything. Start with small exercises. There's really no method to do it. It's hard to let go of cognition. Think of everything as energy. positive or negative. Not good or bad. Try meditation as well. I hope that sorta helps...
