What does illustration practice mean?

I was applying to get more information for college at Maryland Institute College of art, where I wish to study illustration to sharpen my skills and eventually have a tattoo shop, and I came across a title I was unfamiliar with. Illustration Practice. Does it just mean illustration classes? please help! thank you.
