What do you think of this Assassin's Creed Revelations theory?

Okay so as you may already know *spoilers* Desmond has potentially killed Lucy under the Coliseum and gone into shock from touching the apple. Now here's where things get strange. At the end credits we hear the two voices talking about how they have to put Desmond back into the animus. This was strange to me because you don't hear Rebecca or Shaun saying "Oh my God!" or anything. They are right there yet we hear two unfamiliar voices. They sounded not so friendly and could in fact be Abstergo agents. So did we really escape Abstergo in AC2? After we hear them arguing a bit ,we hear Desmond's voice saying "No." Now I don't know about you, but when you are in shock, you can't speak at all or very well, but he said it clearly and it sounded like he was in distress. This leads me to believe that in reality, Desmond is reliving his own memories, reliving the lives of Altair and Ezio. And what is also noteworthy, is that in Revelations, they said we will be reliving Desmonds memories, but what I think, is that we have been doing so this entire time. Also, in Revelations, you are playing as Ezio reliving the life of Altair. Could we be playing as Desmond, who is playing as himself, playing as Ezio, who is playing as Altair. Its an animusception i guess. :P
