Whatever I do I can't insert a tampon.. Please help :(?

Whatever I do.. any position.. It hurts and I freak out. I know it cant get lost.. I know theyre safe... But I cannot get the applicator more than 1 inch inside of me! It stings when i push it even if its a clean one. PLEASE help me Im crying my eyes out. This is ruining my life. Please helpP!
